Data Entry 8.20.22 - Introduction and Cast List

Hi there. My name is Arialys "Aria" Stewart. This gaming blog is not like one you have seen before. This intro page will get you started into the premise and general universe makeup of this blog, which is part video game expression blog, part game criticism work, part fictional universe.

If you wish to learn more, read on after the jump.

What is the Radiaforce? What is this fictional universe?
The Radiaforce is a fictional temporal investigation and defense corps founded by Meridian Ward in the year 2190 AH - After Humanity. In this universe, the human race has all but vanished, and the Earth is instead populated with three successor races: the synthetically generated Drones; the mechanical humanoids known as Androids; and the mysterious replica race, the Dataloids. All three work together in harmony to keep the Earth safe and unmolested by the ravages of time.

Whether Humanity had set out for the stars while leaving the Earth behind, or simply all went extinct is a debated topic. When the Radiaforce Initiative was launched, it was with the understanding that they would investigate why the human race left the Earth in the hands of their successor races. All other avenues have been exhausted, except for time travel, and it was decided in the year 2199 that a group of brave heroes and heroines would travel back in time to the early 21st Century, living amongst humanity and protecting it, investigating the so-called Erasure Point, and prevent it if it can be so.

Who is in the Radiaforce? What are the races that comprise it?

While the Radiaforce's full membership has not been published, there are a number of individuals who have been recorded or are involved with the corps. Some are people from the far future of 2199 AH; some are individuals from the modern-day 2022 AD, all are based upon characters of real-life humans I have met or are the real-life humans themselves. they each fall into one of three races, and none of them are human.

Drones are the closest thing to humanity the future age has left, being a synthetically produced and genetically modified race. They live far longer than a normal human, however they are a newer race, only being created long after humanity left Earth.

Notable Drones in this universe are:

Meridian Ward, female, age 152. originally from New Vegas, Nevada, United America. long dull gray hair, gunmetal gray eyes. a veteran of The War Against Destiny lasting from 2097 to 2108. She leads the Radiaforce Temporal Corps.

Shion Ward, female, age 24. pixie-cut silver-blue hair, hazel eyes. Born in Sendai, Neo Japan. Meridian Ward's granddaughter and the acting CO of the Mankind Project. considered one of the protagonists. she is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, first in line.

Qatherine Harvey, feminine-presenting non-binary, age 25. Born in Neo Redmond, Washington State, Neo America. French-braided blue hair, blue eyes. a prodigy technician working for Tailtech, a premier robotics corporation based in what will become Neo Redmond. They are one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, fifth in line.

Alexander Metro Roalfe, male, age 26. slicked-back red hair, green eyes. Born in Dublin, Ireland. A young man who does ground-floor work with Alpha Calendar, Inc.; In actuality, he is the CEO of that company. He is one of the individuals that bankroll the Radiaforce.

Alice Metri Roalfe, female, age 19. mid-length curly red hair, brown eyes. born in Dublin, Ireland. a young woman working involved with the temporal process. Alexander Roalfe's youngest sister, generally found wearing a skin-tight bodysuit. She is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, sixth in line.

Fievel Capp, female, age 16. short frizzy black hair, blue pupil-less eyes. born in Stockholm, Neo Sweden, European Federation. A rescued orphan from the now-defunct Reaction-Event Saturation Testing facility owned by TitanCorp, and a True Drone; speaking in monotone, with no pupils in her eyes. Her personality and mannerisms mimic that of a human girl on the autism spectrum, a disorder that the future world has no data on. She is always found wearing a mouse onesie and an oversized newsboy cap. she is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, seventh in line.

Androids are entirely mechanical. Rather than their body being biological, made of flesh and bone; their bodies are constructed out of synthetic alloys. Their bones are constructed out of Neuronium, a fictional metal found to react the best with android bodies. coolant runs through their veins, rather than blood. their minds and organs are replaced with motherboards and processor chips. Shooting an Android doesn't do much good, and upon death their data stores are re-uploaded to a central server, where they can be reconstructed assuming their creators have the materials necessary. Variants of this race exist, such as: Taildroids, class-based corporate androids created with additional expansion modules shaped like animal tails; Cyberdrones, drones with over 50% vital body parts replaced with machines; or ReCasts, replica androids built to look a specific way. Androids are sexless, generally given a serial identification number upon construction, and the AI inside them determined their preferred gender identity upon sentience.

notable Androids in this universe are:

ReCast model C.X4-1997β (beta) aka Iris Northe, combat gynoid; technical age 25, active age 3. alternates between waist-length ponytailed Brown hair and boyish-cut brown hair, blue eyes with green rings. Created in Nerima Prefecture, Neo Tokyo, Neo Japan; activated in Richmond, Kentucky, United America. an android, originally built by Alpha Calendar, Inc,; built to look like Reploid Model X4-1997β aka Iris Thorne, a dataloid she views as a younger sister, and keeps in touch with through her journey across time. she is considered a primary deuteragonist. She is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, the third in line.

Tailtech Foxdroid TX573-64 aka Melphina Easter, combat taildroid; technical age 23, active age 5. neck-length messy teal hair, yellow eyes with white rings. Created on Barrow Station, Earth Orbit. Activated on Long Island, New York State, United America. A combat-oriented android created by Tailtech Securities, a private security company with strong ties to the Radiaforce. Melphina Easter was hand-picked by Commander Meridian for this job. Her younger-by-five-minutes twin brother is Miles Easter, who incidentally has an earlier serial number; a point of teasing and contention between the siblings. She is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, the second in line.

Tailtech Wolfdroid TX573-16 aka Miles Easter, support taildroid; technical age 23, active age 5. frizzy black hair in twin low pigtails with white highlight, gray eyes with white rings. Created on Barrow Station, Earth Orbit. Activated on Long Island, New York State, United America. an android created by Tailtech Securities built for intelligence and supportive roles, however he has been known to be a better shot than his twin Melphina. Also hand-picked by Commander Meridian. though his programming was created first, Melphina was finished first and both were activated at the same time, five minutes apart; with her assigned as the elder. He is one of the eight individuals sent to the 21st Century, the fourth in line.

ReCast model C.P5-RAν (nu) aka Suzui Shizuka, cyberized humanoid; technical age 17, active age 2 months. black hair in high ponytail with pink barrettes, gray eyes. Initially created in Inaba, Neo Japan. Activated in Minato Prefecture, Tokyo, Japan. an android, originally built by the Isshiki Institute, built to look like the Dataloid named Suzui Shiho, though she is said to actually be the former volleyball-player and student of Shujin Academy built into a ReCast body as life support. Equipped with flight modules and a short-ranged beam sword. She is not one of the eight individuals sent back in time, however this is because she is from the current era; and had been reconstructed into a ReCast body using tech brought from the future age. She is thus counted among them.

Dataloids are effectively replicas of already existing fictional characters. Most Dataloids take their identity from a video game character or an anime character; usually from those found in the 20th-21st century. They are the newest race, only having begun spawning around 2180 AH. Though some may look human, their bodies are constructed from digital information replicating their appearances, and as such are not strictly biological in nature. Once the temporal link was set, and seven Radiaforce operatives transported themselves to 2022 AD, Dataloids had begun popping up there as well; though in a less dramatic manner.

Dataloids can appear as any particular race, in any particular fashion, and usually retain their skills that they would find in their original media, or as they refer to it, their 'Source'.

Most Dataloids act as they would in their respective media, with some exceptions. notable dataloids who may appear in the story include, but are not limited to...

Lucina Lowell, human-type dataloid, age 19. long blue hair, dark blue eyes with the left eye bearing a sigil called the Brand of the Exalt, colored in silver. born in Ylisstol, Halidom of Ylisse. Initially the princess to Ylisse, her home timeline had been destroyed by the Fell Dragon, Grima; she was forced to travel back in time to before Grima had been resurrected by the Grimleal cultists, and prevent the assassination of her father the current Exalt Chrom, and Aunt Emmeryn, the previous Exalt. Originally unable to save Emmeryn, it seems as if fate wasn't done with her quite yet. her Source is Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Reploid model X4-1997β aka Iris Thorne, technical age 20, active age 7. bushy brown hair in a loose ponytail, green eyes. created and activated in Abel City, Arcadian States. The model upon which Iris Northe was based on, she is a peace-seeking reploid, and the foil to Colonel of the Repliforce; both created by the Perfect Soldier Project. Through a tragic war, she had been corrupted after Colonel's death and forced to fight DWN-Infinity aka Zero, dying from her wounds. Her Data was compiled before Colonel had died in battle, and now she is a helpful, if somewhat misanthropic, member of society; understanding that humanity is a necessary evil. to tell her apart from her ReCast clone, Iris Thorne's gloves are white, while Iris Northe wears red gloves. her Source is Mega Man X4.

Kronya, aka Kalinn Orson, Retainer to House Ochs of the Adrestian Empire. age: undetermined, but likely 21. windswept short bright orange hair, red eyes, teardrop mark below left eye, blue skin tone. born in Shambhala, Agartha. An assassin initially genetically grown in Agartha, meant to be one who only kills in the name of her clan. Her clan was murdered by Thales' organization, known by some as Those Who Slither, and they took her in as a promising assassin and infiltrator. Initially held responsible for capturing one Monica von Ochs, the two grew to be good friends, and while stories suggest that Kronya had murdered Monica and assumed her identity, the truth was that that Monica had been rescued by her own captor, and, to throw off her captors, they made it seem like she had been killed. Kronya had taken the name Kalinn Orson when she accepted Monica's offer to make her a retainer to House Ochs. her Source is Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

From here on out, this blog will be written between story and worldbuilding chapters, and articles written in-character by Shion Ward. When Shion is writing, it will be about general video game expressive articles, and each title will pre-fixed with [RGV], for RadiantGV. Meanwhile, story chapters will take the form of [RZN], for Radiant Intermezzo Number. Should character story beats occur within [RGV] articles, they will always be clearly marked with italics and always taking place after the jump break in each article.
